Hydro Ottawa is introducing a new process for our net metering customers. Participants will receive a welcome email summarizing the program and be asked to confirm their choice of rate plan—Time-of-use (TOU), Tiered, or Ultra-low overnight (ULO). Additionally, those leasing or financing a renewable energy system must submit a signed Net Metering Confirmation of Disclosure form to Hydro Ottawa. While meter reading will continue as usual, the net metering bill features line items related to the generation account. For assistance with your net metering bill, please contact us.

The Renfrew County District School Board is making strides in creating healthier environments for students and staff while cutting carbon emissions. By partnering with Hydro Ottawa Holding Inc, through its affiliate, Envari Energy Solutions, they upgraded the HVAC systems at Arnprior District High School and Fellowes Public School, dramatically improving indoor air quality and reducing carbon emissions by 70 per cent with advanced heat pump technology and heat recovery wheels. The project highlights the board’s commitment to sustainability and shows how local investments in green technology benefit our entire community.
